Position Overview
This role blends account leadership with digital marketing and event promotion strategy. As Account Director, you’ll be the primary point of contact for several marquee clients, responsible for translating goals into actionable strategies across social, paid media, influencer activations, content production, partnerships, email, and event campaigns.
You’ll oversee cross-vertical promotion for both Fireside-produced events and client activations, ensuring campaigns connect seamlessly across digital, experiential, and community channels. You’re a relationship builder and strategic thinker who keeps stakeholders aligned, asks the right questions, and translates business objectives into powerful campaigns. You’ll mentor and manage a Marketing Coordinator, oversee creative and reporting workflows, and partner with Fireside’s leadership team to deliver measurable success across some of our most visible accounts.
This is a fast-moving, high-accountability role—the right candidate will ramp quickly, thrive in client-facing strategy, and inspire confidence both internally and externally.
Goals
- Ensure all client deliverables and KPIs are clearly defined, tracked, and met.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication, strong reporting, and strategic counsel.
- Bring a holistic, omni-channel lens to every campaign, connecting digital, experiential, and brand storytelling.
- Balance high-level account leadership with hands-on social/digital execution.
- Galvanize and mentor a team of emerging marketing and event professionals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Leadership & Account Management
- Act as day-to-day lead for 12–15 client accounts, with primary focus on high-complexity campaigns
- Run client meetings, oversee agendas, track next steps, and send recaps
- Ask the right questions to uncover client goals and translate them into integrated campaign plans.
- Serve as strategic advisor on brand growth, digital innovation, experiential marketing, and campaign pivots.
- Anticipate client needs, identify upsell opportunities, and flag risks proactively.
2. Integrated Campaign Strategy & Oversight
- Lead omni-channel campaign planning across organic/paid social, influencer, PR, partnerships, guerilla tactics, email, and event marketing.
- Ensure all campaigns ladder back to client business goals (e.g. revenue, ticket sales, foot traffic, awareness).
- Partner with Project Manager to keep deliverables on time
- Deliver quarterly and annual recap decks that provide a full strategic retrospective—clearly outlining campaign performance, wins, areas for improvement, and data-backed optimization recommendations to guide next steps.
3. Event Promotion & Campaigns
- Build and oversee cross-vertical event campaigns for both Fireside-produced and client events.
- Oversee and review digital toolkits for partners, tenants, and influencers.
- Monitor + drive event KPIs: ticket sales, attendance, press coverage, and digital engagement.
- Ensure messaging, creative, and reporting align across social, email, paid, influencer, and on-site.
4. Social & Digital Strategy
- Oversee monthly content calendars, content mapping, copywriting direction, and community engagement across 10+ accounts.
- Validate and support social/digital strategies created by coordinators—ensuring alignment with larger business outcomes.
- Manage paid media strategy and performance analysis in collaboration with COO.
- Provide creative/editorial feedback on content, ensuring campaigns are cohesive and high-impact.
6. Influencer + Partnerships
- Strategically identify and outline influencer partners who align with each client’s brand, storyline, and aesthetic to ensure campaigns feel authentic and impactful.
- Oversee influencer campaigns end-to-end, with coordinators managing sourcing, contracting, coordination, and reporting.
- Develop SOPs for outreach, approvals, and post-campaign analysis.
- Manage cross-promotional partnerships, paid media buys, and third-party collaborations
7. Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor Marketing Coordinator(s) and contractors.
- Conduct weekly 1:1s, provide clear feedback, and support professional development.
- Ensure workflows are efficient, documented, and scalable (Monday.com, Air, reporting templates).
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in account management, digital marketing, or integrated campaign leadership (agency experience required).
- Track record of managing multiple accounts and leading omni-channel campaigns end-to-end.
- Strong understanding of how social, paid, influencer, email, partnerships, and events connect to business outcomes.
- Proven experience mentoring junior staff, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and the ability to scale into overseeing a growing team of 5+ direct and indirect reports as Fireside expands.
- Deep fluency across digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Meta Ads Manager, Mailchimp).
- Confident communicator who can hold client trust, nurture relationships, present insights persuasively, and build consensus.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, self-starter, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and ramps quickly with minimal handholding.
