Description: This Chat brought you by The Center on Colfax addresses the global issues that the LGBTQ+ community faces in legislation and education. Additionally, we will discuss how to help foster equality and inclusivity where support is needed. To stop an epidemic of violence that disproportionately impacts trans women of color (who comprise approximately 4 in 5 of all anti-transgender homicides), we need to dismantle a culture of queerphobia and discrimination in all aspects of daily life (personal, professional, cultural, etc.).
