Search the Earth Scavenger Hunt

We’re excited to continue our social media scavenger hunts on the block! This time we will be hiding one green carnation around the block each hour from 1p-6p. A photo clue featuring the green flower will be posted on Larimer Square’s NEW Instagram account and the first person to find it, take a photo with it and post it to Instagram with the tags @itslarimersquare and #searchtheearth will win one of our fantastic prizes from our most sustainable businesses on the block!

Pop-Ups on the Block

Part of our Earth Day celebration features pop-ups from two community organizations doing the best for our planet and people. Stop by Compost Colorado’s Simple Swap Shop and find some reusable items or your new favorite locally made soap! Compost Colorado is a local composting service that picks up waste from your front door! Saving the planet has never been so easy; learn more when you visit their pop-up in one of our pergolas on the block.

Our second pop-up is The Potted Peace Project! This small organization is run by two women of color in Denver, Colorado. Their goal is to promote racial healing via plant love! They gift houseplants, host earth centered events, and facilitate reconnection with nature through gardening classes. They hope to be a means of emotional support for our community. They give people of color plants for free and will be sharing more information on their upcoming events and how to get involved with the project!

Last but not least, serving up fresh, organic, and cold pressed juice is Integrity Juice! This family owned business is made up of 2nd Generation Mexican Juice Makers and they use reusable and recyclable glass bottles to package their powerful flavors!
